Iraqi soldiers at an OP, doing their thing. I’m not gonna lie… I really enjoyed training the Iraqi Army and watching them develop soldier skills. They’re a really good group of guys. The Iraqi Police, however… *shudder*

The Lion of Baghdad. One of my favorite memories of Iraq was seeing and touching this statue. It’s ancient. It’s a lion (now headless) eating a man alive. Fitting, given where it’s at.
